IoT Solutions Software Developer

You will be involved in the development of IoT software that we are developing in-house, including a series of automotive-related services. We are looking forward to working with you to create the services of the future.

TripodWorks develops and provides a variety of services and products using its hardware know-how and software skills. In recent years, TripodWorks has been playing a part in the development of products that benefit a wide range of consumers through joint development with major Japanese companies such as Sumitomo Rubber Industries, Ltd. and Autobacs Seven, Ltd. Some such services include tire pressure monitoring systems, and cloud-based alcohol-level checks for enterprise applications.

Required:

・ English: Business Level

・ Japanese: Business Level (about N2 or higher; certificate not required)

・ Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or similar

・ A strong desire to live and work in Japan long-term

Any of the following:

・ Experience developing with a Linux and/or Windows environment

・ Experience developing with JavaScript, Python, and/or Java

・ Experience developing applications for iOS and/or Android

・ Experience building cloud services using AWS, Azure, GCP, or similar

Preferred:

・ Study abroad experience in Japan

・ Cultural knowledge of Indonesia, S. Korea, or Thailand a plus

SALARY:

¥4 ~ 6.5 million/year (Based on experience)

WORK HOURS:

Flex Time w/ 1-hour break

Core: 10:00 ~ 15:00

Standard: 9:00 ~ 18:00

DAYS OFF:

Weekends, National Holidays, New Year Holiday, Summer Holiday (Obon), Paid Time Off (determined based on time at company), Special PTO (Spousal maternity leave, disaster leave, etc.), Congratulatory and Condolence Leave
