Job Description

Food service providers in Japan still largely operate using analog systems, and spend a large part of their valuable time performing unnecessary tasks. Toreta aims to improve these conditions with the power of technology.

Toreta is seeking Front-End Engineers who don't consider their work as a simple bundle of features–the company is looking for those who focus on clarifying the issue at hand, and thoughtfully consider what it is that they aim to resolve from a holistic perspective. The company isn't looking for those who simply code, but rather for those who want to take on advanced challenges, those who want to engage with both front-end and serverside development, as well as those who are eager to tackle new business ventures.

General Responsibilities:
Front-end development for the Toreta app and other new products.

Ideal Candidate

・You are able to proactively find and solve problems
・You love programming
・You have an understanding of application design
・You love the web
・You have experience developing in a team

・Japanese: Business-level (N2) or higher
・2 years or more of front-end web development experience
・Experience with modern frameworks (e.g., Angular, React, vue)
・Experience with TypeScript

・Knowledge of UI design practices
・Company service operation experience
・Server experience (e.g., Firebase, FireStore, AWS, lambda)
・Experience developing new products and services from scratch
