E-Commerce Site Designer & Coder

euglena Co., Ltd. is a bio-venture company engaged in research and development, production control, quality control, sales, etc. of microalgae with a focus on the algae euglena. The company also develops food, nutrition, and cosmetic products derived from euglena, including health foods based on the algae grown in Ishigaki Island, Okinawa Prefecture under the brand "Ishigaki Euglena." In addition to food/cosmetics, euglena Co. engages in the research and development of commercial fuel products.

euglena Co., Ltd. is looking to recruit candidates capable of programming and design to assist with the renewal of their online store, "euglena online" (https://online.euglena.jp/).

In coordination with the Director, the Designer/Coder will not only work to promote euglena's products and create beautiful designs, but will also work to communicate the company's vision and philosophy through the e-commerce site.

Main tasks may include, but are not limited to:
- Complete renewal of the website
- Product image editing and banner image creation
- Smartphone website development

An ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor's degree or higher, and have experience with e-commerce web development. Candidates should be fluent with the following tools: Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, HTML (able to understand tags), and CSS. Additional experience in food/cosmetics manufacturing/development and/or retail management is a plus.

English: Native level required
Japanese: Intermediate level or above
