In the 1990s, until the debut of COMPANY (the predecessor to HUE), it was said that it was impossible to create an ERP package that corresponds to the detailed and complicated business customs of major Japanese companies. Major Japanese companies have no choice but to make enormous investments into custom systems or to customize overseas ERP packages. It’s estimated that this has resulted in the efficiency of Japan’s information systems being 10 years slower than that of the United States. If nothing is done, Japanese companies will grow weaker, and their international competitiveness will continue to decline. In order to dramatically reduce the actual investment cost into IT, it is essential to commercialize an ERP package that can be used by major Japanese companies without compromise. Accounting System Development Managers are responsible for managing all processes from planning to maintenance development of functions in the accounting products of in-house software packages for large companies.

[About the Accounting Product Development Department]
・ The Accounting Product Development Department consists of about 300 people in total, at four offices (Tokyo, Osaka, Shanghai, and Singapore).
・ Each function group is organized into teams of 5-10 people, made up of a diverse group of developers, including specialists in technology, specialists in accounting operations, and generalists.
・ As the accounting systems developed are for major corporations and affect the business and sales of tens of thousands of employees, the demands and expectations from clients and the company are incredibly difficult and require supreme quality, even when compared with the various web services and systems available across the globe. Although the pressure is intense, the company believes that they will be able to grow significantly, gain experience, and be proud of their achievements.
・ Experience developing business systems using Java and RDBMS
・ Experience managing multiple employees
・ Experience managing operation teams and business system development
・ A desire to share your knowledge and talents with others instead of simply following instructions
・ An ability to manage projects with a strong awareness of deadlines and quality
・ An ability to constructively point out issues and present areas of improvement on a mutual basis through logical thinking and smooth communication
・ A willingness to make adjustments inside and outside the team by thoroughly pursuing facts, determining issues, and formulating an action plan with an image of execution
・ An ability to lead employees through the problem-solving process toward innovative solutions
・ Japanese ability (Will interact with domestic clients - Business-level or higher - about N2+)
・ Must reside in Japan
・ Experience in client negotiations
・ Experience in software development and maintenance for clients
・ Experience in requirement definition and function development in accounting-related fields (accounting management, debt and credit management, fund management, purchasing / expense management, real estate management, etc.)
・ English writing ability (Text-based communication with overseas teams - Business-level or higher)
SALARY: Estimated starting from 7 to 10 million yen, yearly
Includes twice-yearly bonuses, and twice-yearly pay-raise opportunities, and standard minimum 45 hr./mo. overtime pay (regardless of actual overtime worked)
